THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, including aluminium body repair work.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out aluminium vehicle body repairs and welding in accordance with required repair methods.
andmiddot;Repairing, replacing, aligning, and fitting vehicle body panels and components.
andmiddot;Carrying out structural and non-structural repairs to accident-damaged vehicles.
andmiddot;Assessing damaged panels and determining the appropriate repair or replacement methods.
andmiddot;Using specialist body repair and aluminium welding equipment safely and effectively.
andmiddot;Working to manufacturer repair methods and relevant industry standards.
andmiddot;Working closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and other Bodyshop colleagues to maintain an efficient repair process.
andmiddot;Completing allocated repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining excellent workmanship and quality standards.
ABOUT YOU
This opportunity is specifically suited to an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Vehicle Body Repair Technician with proven aluminium repair experience.
You MUST hold an Aluminium Welding Certificate - Essential for the role.
You'll ideally have:
andmiddot;Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician within a professional bodyshop or accident repair environment.
andmiddot;Proven experience carrying out aluminium welding and aluminium vehicle body repairs.
andmiddot;Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of modern vehicle body construction and accident repair techniques.
andmiddot;Experience carrying out structural and non-structural body repairs.
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
andmiddot;The ability to work efficiently while maintaining consistently high standards.
andmiddot;A full UK driving licence.
