Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

Hours andndash; Monday andndash; Friday with early finish / half day Friday

We are looking for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing business during a busy period on a contract basis.
This is a hands-on assembly role requiring good electro-mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings, work instructions / assembly instructions.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a safety-critical or highly regulated manufacturing environment, such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices or similar, although not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build electro-mechanical assemblies from technical drawings
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components
- Solderingandnbsp;
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Carry out upgrades and repairs to electro-mechanical assemblies
- Work to defined quality procedures and standards
Skills andamp; Experience:
- Previous electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
- Ideally from automotive, aerospace, medical or another safety-critical manufacturing environment
- Able to read and work from engineering/technical drawings
- Soldering skills
- Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Experience assembling small, detailed components
This would suit someone from an Assembly Technician, Electro-Mechanical Assembler, Production Technician or Manufacturing Technician background.
