About this role
This temporary Site Manager role in Mayfair covers a fast track refurbishment project for a well-established contractor, delivering a prime residential/commercial refurbishment in one of London’s most exclusive locations. You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site management, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating all site activities from start to completion, supervising subcontractors, labour and suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining quality control throughout, and liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders. The rate is £280–£300/day.

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast track refurbishment project in Mayfair. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and coordinating all site activities from start to completion.
- Supervising subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining quality control throughout all stages of the project.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Managing site logistics within a constrained central London environment.
- Monitoring programme performance and reporting progress to senior management.
- Conducting site meetings and maintaining project documentation.
- Driving a high-end finish in line with client expectations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing refurbishment projects as a Site Manager.
- Experience delivering high-specification residential, commercial or heritage refurbishments.
- Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within occupied or live environments.
- Sound understanding of construction sequencing, quality management and site logistics.
Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black or Gold Card
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence

- Experience working on refurbishment-projects.
- Knowledge of listed buildings and heritage refurbishments.
