You will support the delivery of works on site, undertaking setting out in accordance with drawings and specifications, carrying out site surveys and measurements, and producing and maintaining accurate site records. Immediate Start-
An experienced Site Engineer is required for an immediate start on a project in Bridgend, South Wales.
Working for a well-established engineering contractor, you'll support the delivery of works on site, undertaking setting out, surveying, quality assurance and site coordination duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer seeking long-term freelance opportunities, with the potential to move onto future projects upon successful completion of the initial assignment.
Responsibilities
- Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out site surveys and measurements.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
- Supporting quality assurance processes and compiling QA documentation.
- Preparing as-built surveys and records.
- Checking drawings and identifying potential issues.
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Monitoring progress and assisting with the coordination of site activities.
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with health, safety and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, energy, industrial or construction projects.
- Competent in setting out and surveying activities.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- CSCS Card essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
