About this role
This contract Site Engineer – Civils role is based in Menston, Leeds, with a mid-November start on a six-month new-build school project. Working with a well-established groundworks contractor, you will cover a varied civils package including hard landscaping, kerbing and paving, drainage and service installations, ducting, trench excavation and pipe laying. Responsibilities include setting out and quality assurance on site, alongside interpreting drawings and specifications. Applicants must have previous Site Engineer experience within groundworks and civil engineering, strong setting-out capability, and a CSCS card. Own surveying equipment is preferred but not essential.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established groundworks contractor on a new-build school project in Leeds.
This is a long-term opportunity working on a varied and straightforward civils package, offering 6 months of consistent work with the potential for further opportunities upon completion.
Scope of Works:
Hard landscaping
Kerbing and paving
Drainage and service installations
Ducting works
Trench excavation
Pipe laying
Bedding and backfilling operations
Setting out and quality assurance on site
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Site Engineer within groundworks and civil engineering projects
Strong setting-out capability
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Experience with drainage, roads, paving and external works
CSCS Card (essential)
Own surveying equipment preferred but not essential
