This permanent Service HGV Technician role in Feltham focuses primarily on carrying out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of HGVs, helping to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and kept safely on the road. Responsibilities include completing vehicle safety checks and inspections, carrying out basic maintenance, identifying defects, reporting any additional repair work required, and completing job cards and service documentation accurately. You will work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and ensure all work is completed in line with company and manufacturer standards. Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles for five years or more is required.

HGV SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Salary: OTE £58,375
Location: Heathrow
Hours: Monday to Friday 40hrs per week + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Service Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop.
This role will focus primarily on carrying out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on a range of HGVs, helping to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and kept safely on the road.
The Role:
andmiddot;Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on HGVs
andmiddot;Complete vehicle safety checks and inspections
andmiddot;Carry out basic maintenance and identify any defects

What We're Looking For:
andmiddot;Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles for 5 years +
andmiddot;Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent preferred
andmiddot;Experience carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
andmiddot;A good understanding of vehicle safety and inspection standards
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;A reliable and organised approach to work
