About this role
This is a full-time, permanent Service Advisor role in Crewe, with a basic salary and OTE of £34,500. You will act as the key link between customers and the workshop, managing every vehicle booking, service, repair and customer interaction professionally from initial booking through to vehicle collection. The position requires an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, plus one in three Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 12:00pm.

THE ROLE
As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering a professional and customer-focused aftersales experience while ensuring workshop operations run smoothly.
Working closely with customers, technicians and the wider aftersales team, the Service Advisor will manage vehicles throughout the service and repair process, keeping customers informed and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot; Welcoming customers and providing a professional and friendly service
andmiddot; Booking vehicles in for servicing, maintenance and repairs
andmiddot; Managing customer appointments and workshop bookings
andmiddot; Keeping customers updated throughout the service and repair process
andmiddot; Preparing accurate estimates and explaining repair recommendations to customers
andmiddot; Discussing additional work and recommending relevant products and services
andmiddot; Maximising opportunities for additional sales where appropriate
andmiddot; Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
andmiddot; Managing customer expectations regarding costs and completion times
andmiddot; Preparing job cards and ensuring accurate vehicle information is recorded
andmiddot; Ensuring all paperwork and computer records are completed accurately
andmiddot; Maintaining excellent levels of customer satisfaction
andmiddot; Working closely with the Workshop Controller and Service Manager
andmiddot; Following manufacturer and company procedures
andmiddot; Supporting the wider Aftersales team when required
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor with a strong automotive background and excellent customer service skills.
The successful Service Advisor will ideally have:
andmiddot; Previous experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive dealership
andmiddot; Minimum 2 years' dealership experience
andmiddot; Experience within an aftersales, workshop or service environment
andmiddot; Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs
andmiddot; Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
andmiddot; Ability to manage multiple customer requirements in a busy workshop environment
andmiddot; Confident using computerised dealership systems
andmiddot; Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify additional sales opportunities
andmiddot; Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
andmiddot; Full UK driving licence desirable
andmiddot; Right to work in the UK
