About this role
This permanent Quality Engineer role is based in Coventry, with a salary of £38,000 to £48,000 per annum. You will maintain and improve our quality management system across ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100, lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone tools, and manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues. You will also prepare PPAP and FAI documentation for new parts, run internal audits and support customer and certification audits, and use data and SPC to cut scrap and rework.

What you will do

What you need
- Degree or HNC in an engineering subject, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in a quality role in manufacturing
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or a sector standard
- Confidence with problem-solving tools and core quality tools (APQP, PFMEA, control plans)
- Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment

- Internal auditor certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- CMM experience
