About this role
This is a temporary Production Technician role in Hertfordshire, working for at least four weeks until the end of August. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, and Friday, 8.30am to 2.30pm, at £13.50 per hour. Duties include wiring and cabling, assembling PCB boards from drawings, soldering, mechanical assembly, quality inspection and product testing. Candidates must have previous electrical assembly experience, essential wiring and cabling experience, a good understanding of quality inspection, previous tool use experience, strong attention to detail and immediate availability.

Hourly Rate: £13.50ph
Our well-known client based in Letchworth Garden City are looking for a Production Technician to join their team on a Temporary basis, to help out with a large project until the end of August. The successful candidate MUST have previous wiring & cabling experience and come from an electrical assembly background, and be available immediately.
Main duties as a Production Operative:
- Wiring & cabling
- Assembly PCB boards, going by drawings given
- Soldering
- Mechanical assembly
- Quality inspection upon finalised production
- Product testing
What's needed as a Production Operative:
- Previous experience within Electrical assembly
- Previous wiring & cabling experience (essential)
- A good understanding of quality inspection
- Previous tool use experience
- Available immediately
