About this role
This is a permanent Production Operative role in Cleckheaton with a large multinational manufacturer, paying £16.26 per hour. Working in the jointing department, you will fill stillages with the required mix of materials for the Calender Operative, trim finished Calender sheets to the required size, and identity stamp each batch for quality control. The rotating shift pattern covers one week of nights, one week of afternoons and one week of mornings, with an early finish every Friday. Full training lasting six to eight weeks is provided, and the position is permanent from day one.

Our client, a large multinational manufacturer based in Cleckheaton, have a requirement to recruit a well versed-production operative.
Role
As the-production operative your role will consist of...
- Working in the jointing department
- Fill stillages with the required mix of materials for the Calender Operative
- Trim the finished Calender sheets to the required size
- Identity stamp each batch for quality control
Working a rotating shift pattern of 1 week nights, 1 week evenings and 1 week days.
The hours are 6am to 2pm week 1, 2pm to 10pm week 2 and 10pm to 6am week 3.
BUT........
Every Friday has an early finish to give you the full weekend off.....what a company !!
Week 1 Friday is 6am to 12pm ( Noon )
Week 2 Friday is 12pm to 6.20pm
Week 3 Friday is 6pm to 12am ( midnight )
This is a permanent position from day one, where you will be offered, after full training lasting 6/8 weeks,-an hourly rate of - 16.26-which is a-salary of - 32,975.28-and 33-days holidays.
