About this role
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable MIG and TIG Welder Fabricator to join their team in Bygrave on a permanent basis, with a salary of £15.00 to £20.00 per hour. The role involves carrying out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard, reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans, and fabricating and assembling metal components accurately. You will work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, ensure all work meets quality and safety standards, and perform finishing and inspection of completed welds while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
- Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
- Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium materials
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Perform finishing and inspection of completed welds
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Proven experience as a MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Experience using fabrication tools and machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Welding qualifications/certifications
- Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (advantageous but not essential)
