About this role
This is a permanent Healthcare Assistant role in Portswood, paying £12.75 to £13.25 per hour. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents across care homes, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing. Duties include providing personal care and support with daily activities, assisting residents with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care, and supporting residents with mobility and transfers. You will follow individual care plans and instructions from senior staff, maintain accurate care records, and work effectively with Senior Carers, Registered Nurses and other care staff. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered.

e are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team and work across care homes.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
- Assist residents with washing, dressing, toileting and continence care.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers.
- Assist with meals and hydration.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents.
- Follow individual care plans and instructions from senior staff.
- Observe residents and report any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Follow safeguarding, infection-control and health & safety procedures.
- Work effectively with Senior Carers, Registered Nurses and other care staff.
- Promote residents' dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
