About this role

This is a permanent, full-time Groundworker role based in Wandsworth, covering Southwest London including Sutton, Croydon, Battersea, Merton, Guildford and Redhill. The position offers £35,530 per annum, a company van, fuel card, uniform and PPE. You will carry out groundworks and external property repairs across residential properties, including drainage repairs and renewals, fencing, brickwork and pointing, concrete works, slabbing, paving and flagging, tarmac patching and manhole repairs. You will also undertake general groundwork and property maintenance, with high-pressure drain jetting training provided. Good practical groundwork experience and excellent customer service skills are required.

Groundworker - Southwest London

£35,530 per annum | Permanent | Full Time | Company Van

Our client is looking for an experienced Groundworker to join their busy Repairs & Maintenance team covering Southwest London.

This is a permanent position offering £35,530 per annum, a company van, fuel card, uniform, PPE and excellent benefits.

You will carry out groundworks and external property repairs across residential properties, including:

  • Drainage repairs and renewals

  • Fencing

  • Brickwork and pointing

  • Concrete works

  • Slabbing, paving and flagging

  • Tarmac patching

  • Manhole repairs

  • General groundwork and property maintenance

  • High-pressure drain jetting - full training provided

You will work across areas including Sutton, Croydon, Battersea, Wandsworth, Merton, Guildford and Redhill.

We are looking for a skilled Groundworker / Multi Skilled Groundworker / Maintenance Groundworker with experience in several of the above areas.

Experience within social housing, residential repairs, responsive maintenance or property maintenance would be advantageous.

You must have:

  • Good practical groundwork experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A professional and reliable approach

  • A full UK driving licence

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm | 40 hours per week
