About this role
This is a temporary FLT Operator role based in Skelmersdale (WN8 9PE), working with Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. Job Overview
- Position: FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)
- Salary: -15.72 per hour (OT 1.5X multiplier available)
- Location: Skelmersdale (WN8 9PE)
- Contract Type: Temporary - ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Rotational (06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00) - must be flexible for both
Responsibilities
- Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move pallets efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Perform essential warehouse tasks, including stock replenishment, put-aways, and bringing stock to production lines.
- Complete tasks accurately to meet site targets and KPIs.
- Assist with manual lifting as and when required to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid, in-date Reach and Counterbalance accredited license.
- Minimum of 6 months of operational experience within the last 2 years.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working towards targets or KPIs.
- Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
