Manpower is recruiting a Warehouse/FLT Driver for a globally recognised client based south of Cambridge, located in Hinxton. This permanent role offers £19.03 per hour. The successful candidate will join a busy Stores and Warehouse team, carrying out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles, receiving, unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently, and checking deliveries for damaged or missing items. You will operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively, load and dispatch goods accurately, deliver materials to production lines, pick and prepare orders for dispatch, and conduct stock counts as required. A valid external FLT licence is essential, along with a strong commitment to health and safety.

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Warehouse/FLT driver to join our globally recognised client based south of Cambridge.

To be successful in this role, you must hold:- A valid external FLT licence, either:
- Counterbalance
- Reach Truck
- Previous warehouse or stores experience is desirable
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Carry out daily safety checks on equipment and vehicles
- Receive, unload and store deliveries safely and efficiently
- Check deliveries for damaged or missing items
- Quality check products and materials
- Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck FLTs safely and effectively
- Load and dispatch goods accurately
- Deliver materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
- Pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Conduct stock counts as required
- Ensure all lifting and manual handling activities are carried out safely
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
These roles will be covering a variety of working patterns based around 12-hour shifts - averaging 12 shifts a month with rest periods as long as 8 days between (Average 6/7-night shifts per month). Over time is also regularly available and paid at 1.5x or 2.0x the rate depending on the shift.Health & Safety
