Acorn by Synergie is seeking two experienced Fire Stoppers for the Passive Fire Team with a leading Facilities Management business in Preston. This temporary role runs for a 10-week project, paying £230 to £250 per day, negotiable, via CIS payment. An enhanced DBS is required, or willingness to obtain one. You will work on projects within public sector commercial buildings, carrying out essential passive fire protection works to ensure buildings meet safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities include installing fire stopping systems such as batt and mastic, fire collars, wraps and sealants, plus fire door installation, maintenance and remedial works, and compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations.

Acorn by Synergie are looking for 2 experienced Fire stoppers for the Passive Fire Team with a leading Facilities Management business. You will be working on a range of projects within public sector commercial buildings, carrying out essential passive fire protection works to ensure buildings meet safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants
- Fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works
- Carry out compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Complete works to a high standard in line with FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines
- Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation
- Work safely and respectfully within public spaces
