About this role
This is a permanent Dispensing Optician role in Sidcup, Greater London, paying £30,000 to £35,000 per annum. Working three or four days a week, including Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, you will join an established independent opticians practice serving Sidcup and the surrounding communities. Responsibilities include recommending suitable eyewear and lens solutions and supporting personalised eye care, with 45-minute eye examinations giving time to understand each patient's individual needs. You will work within a supportive and collaborative team, with the option of an additional fourth day to be discussed to suit both the successful candidate and the practice.

Dispensing Optician vacancies in Sidcup. Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for their established practice in Sidcup.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team with a strong focus on providing personalised eye care and exceptional service. The practice offers 45-minute eye examinations, allowing the team plenty of time to understand each patient's individual needs and recommend the most suitable eyewear and lens solutions.
The successful Dispensing Optician will work Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, with the option to work an additional fourth day. The extra day can be discussed to suit both the successful candidate and the practice.
Dispensing Optician - Role

Dispensing Optician - Requirements
- Fully qualified Dispensing Optician
- Registered with the GOC
- FBDO qualification
- Previous experience working as a Dispensing Optician
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident advising on frames, lenses and suitable optical solutions
- Patient-focused with high standards of service
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team
