About this role
This permanent CNC Vertical Borer (Nights) role in Ecclesfield involves producing large precision-engineered components. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, set tooling, offsets and work holdings, and make adjustments and program edits where required. Maintaining tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes is essential, alongside conducting first-off and in-process inspection activities and completing quality documentation as required. Applicants should have previous experience operating CNC vertical boring machines, a strong understanding of precision engineering practices, experience machining large components, and the ability to work independently from engineering drawings. A flexible approach and willingness to work permanent night shifts are required.
Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Vertical-Borer (NIGHT SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.-
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: -23.70 starting rate,-based on experience.-
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC vertical boring machines.
- Produce large precision-engineered components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
