About this role
Carro Recruitment is recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers for temporary work in the Peterborough area, covering day and night shifts. The role involves general haulage with curtainside trailers, including trunk runs and depot-to-depot work, with immediate starts available and ongoing work beyond Christmas. Applicants must hold a relevant Class 1 C+E licence with no onerous points, an up-to-date tacho and CPC, and a minimum of one year's on-road driving experience. Good communication skills and knowledge of the UK road network are also required. The rate is £19 to £20 per hour.
