About this role
GI Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a parcel delivery network in Etruria (ST1). This temporary role involves afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis, with start times between 13:00 and 15:00, Monday to Friday, plus weekend work. Shifts average 12 hours. Duties include conducting vehicle checks, trunking work to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet time commitments. Applicants must have at least 12 months' Class 1 experience, a valid in-date Tachograph and CPC, no more than six penalty points, and good customer service skills. Pay ranges from £20.34 to £26.25 per hour.
Job Description
GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Stoke (ST1).
Drivers shifts:
We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:
- Monday to Friday - -20.34 per hour
- Overtime (After 8 hours) - -25.25 per hour
- Saturday - -23.52 per hour
- Overtime (After 8 hours) - -25.25 per hour
- Sunday - -26.25 per hour
*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay
HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:
- Conducting Vehicle checks
- Trunking work to depots and Hubs
- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:
- A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
- Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- Have good customer service skills
- Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
