About this role
This is a permanent Assistant Payroll Manager role based in Aberdeen, offering a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum. Working for a nationally recognised client, you will support the Payroll Manager with workload delegation and day-to-day activities, while taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients and managing client relationships. You will act as a payroll subject matter expert, supporting the team with escalated queries, processing a full end-to-end client payroll, ensuring payroll compliance and implementing controls, and driving continuous improvement alongside a customer-centric culture.
