Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Controller / Finance Generalist to join its Swansea-based finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with an immediate start and an excellent salary package. The role has been created to provide critical finance support during the implementation of a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system. Key responsibilities include supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and journal processing, maintaining accurate general ledger records and balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close activities such as accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.

Morgan Advanced Materials is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller / Finance Generalist to join our Swansea-based finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide critical finance support during the implementation of our new Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and journal processing
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments and variance analysis
- Prepare and support monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and group reporting requirements
- Help maintain finance documentation and controls during the ERP implementation
About You
- Previous experience within a Finance Generalist, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant or Assistant Controller role
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment would be advantageous
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification desirable but not essential
